1975 - The beginning of a legacy
Founding President – 1975
Founded in 1975, Rotary Club San Carlos was created by a group of community leaders united by a commitment to service.
Historic correspondence from Rotary International, dated December 1975, was addressed to Wilfrido Aldana R. as president of the Rotary Club San Carlos-Guaymas and recognizes his election as founding president. Another communication from the Guaymas Rotary Scholarship and Loan Foundation, dated August 1976, connects the early years of the local Rotary movement with support for students in the community.
